Artwork created by students during a class field trip to the Holland Harbor Fog Signal and Lighthouse Building, better known as “Big Red”. This was the kick off to a year of independent small group study by a class of advanced learners about the lighthouse and its role in the creation of Holland as first a commercial port and later as a recreational port.
The Historic Ottawa Beach Society, a 501 c3 non profit corporation, operates the Pump House Museum and Learning Center at Ottawa Beach near Holland, Michigan
