Decks of these cards were probably sold at both the Hotel Macatawa and at the Hotel Ottawa.
In 1903, the only way tourists and guests could get to these hotels was by the Pere Marquette Railroad, the Grand Rapids, Holland, and Lake Michigan Rapid Railway (popularly known as the Interurban), or by passenger steamships mostly out of Chicago Illinois.
