The Historic Ottawa Beach Society was incorporated in 2010 as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit and now operates the Pump House Museum and Learning Center.

The mission of HOBS is to foster cultural and environmental stewardship of Michigan’s Historic Ottawa Beach by preserving and interpreting its wonders, memories, and stories. Its first major project has been to work with Ottawa County to renovate the historic Pump House and build associated restroom facilities in order to convert the building into the new Pump House Museum and Learning Center.

The Society is governed by a Board of Directors. The current board is made up of the following officers and board members:
