I can feel it. It is getting closer.
The days are getting longer, and summer will be here before we know it.
HOBS is preparing for the Pump House Museum and Learning Center to re-open in early June. HOBS is hoping to have a grand opening event to recognize the listing of Lakewood Farm on the National Register of Historic Places.
The museum will offer a few new exhibits, the Lakewood Farm and Zoo and Jenison Electric Park exhibits have been held over, and HOBS is planning some interesting programs and lively events!
The Pump House Museum and Learning Center has free admission, thanks to member dues and donations. The museum continues to preserve our local area history and offer fun educational opportunities for all ages.
I encourage you to fill out the attached form and mail it in with a check, or you may visit our website www.historicottawabeachsociety.org and click on the orange “JOIN OR DONATE” button in the upper right-hand corner.
