HOBS is pleased to announce a new exhibit in the Pump House Museum and Learning Center this season
While there is no evidence that there was a gift shop in the hotel, our current display of hotel artifacts includes a woman’s lipstick which was the clue that there was a shop which offered small items which depicted an image of the hotel or the channel along with the words “Ottawa Beach” in a fancy script.
Thanks to the generosity of Carol Knutson for the loan of picture postcards and Bil Nienhuis for the loan of the additional souvenirs. Take a look at the photograph which shows some of the items which will be included in the display.
